Horticultural Assistant for The Center For Discovery

The Horticultural Assistant works with the Horticultural Coordinator in the management of the 3 areas of the Healing garden work (Greenhouse, gardens and herbal workshop) The Healing Gardens at The Center for Discovery are comprised of 5 gardens, a 34’x100’ greenhouse and an herbal workshop. They fully involve adults and children, from the Center’s day program, educational and residential programs. They are worked biodynamically and create, together with the work itself, an aesthetically healing landscape. This is a seasonal position that ends at the end of November and begins again in March.
